Su'a Ocean Trenches

Amanda's brother Tris, his girlfriend Emily and her sister Rose visited Samoa earlier this month and went for a swim at Su'a Ocean Trenches on the South Coast.






These deep holes are connected to the ocean through tunnels in the volcanic rock. On a calm day its possible to swim through a 5 metre underwater tunnel out to sea. It was too rough the day we were there so thrillseekers had to content themselves with negotiating the steep ladder...

… and letting the current surging through the tunnel swoosh them back and forth across the pool.

Its been a long time since we updated our blog but lots has been happening. The Tadpoole is growing fast - here tis in early August (19 weeks)....









...and late September (26 weeks)... Amanda is a bit bemused by the size, she thought it would be this big at the end!














Pooley is relieved that Heidi has a place to stay when we go back to Tassie for the Tadpoole's arrival...
... and Heidi is too!
