Manono adventure.

Sally and Martin managed to pack a whole lot in as well as spend quality time with their granddaughter (and her parents!). Among their many achievements were a day trip to Manono island entirely by public transport. This was quite an amazing feat, especially as nobody quite new where the bus left from, how long it would take, and where to wait for it on the way back (beside the rubbish stand in the blazing sun was probably not necessary!)

Seven Babies of Samoa

The Great Couch Potato Race of 2007

While in Samoa, John perfected his couch potato stroke. There were many attempts but nobody else came close to matching the pace...

... he also found time for a bit of a sail

... and introduced his granddaughter to some Samoan culture.

Amanda's Folks come to Visit

Kate and John missed Zoe so much they came to visit three weeks after we got back to Samoa. They discovered the beauty of Samoa while they were here and we think they may be back again quite soon! We even managed to get John to wear a lavalava!
